Welcome to Grand Saline TX Central Pentecostal Church

Central Pentecostal Church and thank you so much for visiting the website of the Central Pentecostal Church

We are people who are committed to Jesus Christ, to the Bible as our source of truth, and to loving and serving the people God brings into our lives.

Here at our church, we are committed to bringing the message of hope and salvation to a needy and troubled world. We believe that this message can only be found in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Our church is part of the worldwide Pentecostal Movement, in fellowship with the Assemblies of God, and a member of the Evangelical Alliance. We have been in Grand Saline since 1998, when Pastor Garvin Pulley opened the fellowship with just a few people gathering in a small hall. Since then, we have grown to a membership of 40, meeting in large, centrally situated, premises.

The CPC church family is made up of people from a rich diversity of backgrounds, experiences and ages. However, we all share a universal characteristic that unites us all - a love for Jesus Christ and a commitment to seeing God work in our lives.

The activities of our church, in addition to the two main Sunday services, include home groups, bible studies, prayer times, as well as meetings for particular age groups such as children, young people, and the elderly.

We will be very pleased to see you, whether you are looking for a church to attend on a regular basis or you are just visiting the area. Have a look at our Activities page for more details of meetings and times.

Why a small town country church?

Healthy small churches have warmth and intimacy; the likes of which are difficult to duplicate in a large-church setting (though I've seen some wonderful exceptions!). Small-church people can gather around the piano and sing each other's favorite songs. They laugh and cry together They are spontaneous and informal. Is it any wonder that large churches look for ways to create the dynamics that occur naturally in small-church contexts? That small groups are big in big churches? "Paying attention" is a big part of what makes small-town churches special.
People want to feel needed. Many leave the church because they are neglected or overlooked. Once all of the members feel that their presence is important, they begin to take a more active part in the work.

At Central Pentecostal Church we would like to invite you here to join us for a wonderful family experience that only a small country church can bring.

Central Pentecostal Church pays attention. That's what makes us special.
